USE RATES: Apply 1 ounce per 100 lbs (ex: 1500lb bale rate would be 15oz/bale). This product is best when sprayed on the windrow as hay is being baled.  It can be applied to bales as they are unrolled or prior to grinding.

Benefit Backgrounding is designed to be used as a post-harvest applied bale preservative used to accelerate the biological activity within the biomass of the bale, increasing the amount of weight gain young calves’ experience. Benefit Backgrounding will help a cow recover from the birthing process and produce a vitamin rich milk.

General use should not exceed 24 ounces per bale unless recommended otherwise. Follow the directions as given on the label for each respective application.
