USE RATES:
Apply 1 ounce per 100 lbs (ex: 1500lb bale rate would be 15oz/bale). This product is best when sprayed on the windrow as hay is being baled. It can be applied to bales as they are unrolled or prior to grinding.
Benefit Backgrounding® is designed to be used as a post-harvest applied bale preservative used to accelerate the biological activity within the biomass of the bale, increasing the amount of weight gain young calves’ experience. Benefit Backgrounding® will help a cow recover from the birthing process and produce a vitamin rich milk.
General use should not exceed 24 ounces per bale unless recommended otherwise. Follow the directions as given on the label for each respective application.
